The business cards we sell are completely different in terms of material! The bamboo card is actually made of bamboo material, while the metal business card is actually made of metal! (NOT to be confused with their plastic counterparts found at other manufacturers and distributors, in which case the desired surface is painted on the plastic later with a printing process!).
Looking at the bamboo business card, there is an NFC chip hidden inside almost the entire length of the card, so the entire surface of the card can communicate with the receiving device. The soft material of bamboo does not conduct the radio signal of the NFC chip.
In the case of a metal business card, since metal as a material conducts the radio signal (so it can cast a shadow on the receiving device), only the NFC chip surface of the same color, which is aesthetically sunk into the plane of the metal on the back of the card, communicates with our partner's device.
This means that while the bamboo business card can be touched to the smart device from any direction, only the visible NFC chip part of the metal card will communicate properly.
